My Story
I studied for my bachelor’s degree at Brunel university in London. Following graduation, I initially worked in information systems administration and more traditional IT roles within the NHS. Over time I gravitated towards more data related roles.
During the last 10-15 years I have worked in various analytics roles, mainly as a contractor. This has included being a board member and analytics lead, corporate performance manager and analytics consultant.
I have extensive experience in the public sector, designing and building analytics solutions from an operational to executive level. As a board member for over 4 years, I gained a unique insight into what executive decision makers need from analytical reports and how this can differ greatly from what interest’s technical professionals.
Over the last year I really wanted to transfer my experience and skills to the private sector, and I felt that joining Beyond was the perfect move for me. My role as a senior insight’s analyst gives me the opportunity I was looking for and also I get to work with a great team who have a wealth of experience working directly with business clients.
Normal Day
My workdays are both engaging and varied. I typically start my day by reviewing emails and catching up on any overnight developments. With a fresh cup of coffee in hand, I dive into data extraction and cleaning, making sure the datasets are accurate and ready for analysis.

Mid-morning, I often have a collaborative session with my team. These meetings are essential for discussing ongoing projects, sharing insights, and aligning our efforts to tackle any challenges we face. The collaborative spirit within the team fuels our productivity and creativity.

Later in the afternoon, I prepare reports and visualisations. Communicating complex data in a clear and compelling way is crucial, and I take pride in crafting presentations that can be easily understood by both internal stakeholders and clients.

My workday is dynamic and fulfilling, combining deep analytical work with collaborative and client-facing activities. It's this blend of tasks that makes my role at Beyond Analytics UK both challenging and enjoyable.
Outside the Office
I am passionate about giving back to my community through volunteer work. I am part of a voluntary organisation that helps people improve their lives through positive change. This is also a central part of my faith, which brings a lot of contentment and peace of mind.

In addition to my community work, I have a keen interest in sports. I enjoy both watching and playing a variety of sports, which not only keeps me active but also brings a sense of camaraderie and excitement. Whether it's a casual game of soccer with friends or cheering for my favourite team, sports are a significant part of my life.

Art and painting are another of my creative outlets. I find solace and inspiration in expressing myself through colours and canvases. This hobby allows me to unwind and explore my artistic side, providing a perfect balance to my analytical work.

Traveling is a passion that I pursue whenever I can. Exploring new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes enriches my life and broadens my perspectives. Each journey brings new experiences and memories that I cherish.'

Through these diverse activities, I maintain a balanced and fulfilling life outside of work, continually learning and growing both personally and professionally.
